The Douro Valley Cruise is an unforgettable journey through one of the most beautiful landscapes in Portugal. The Douro Valley is the first Demarcated Wine Region in the world, which dates back to late 18th century.
The cruise starts at 9 a.m. and it includes lunch, an afternoon snack and wine tasting. The river descent ends in Pinhão, a small village on the Douro where you can rest and enjoy the sun, accompanied by a smooth and fresh glass of Port Wine.
The cruise will be accompanied by guides who will explain Douro traditions and histories in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.
The journey back to Porto from Pinhão is made by train, also close to the
river allowing for a different perspective over the same landscape of the Douro
Valley. Visitors will
be back to Porto by 7.30 p.m.
